Dress Code:

• All Classes: Leotards, tights (except Creative Dance students), and appropriate shoes.
• Jazz and Hip-Hop: students may also wear form fitting dance pants (no sweatpants).
• Additional items allowed: leg warmers, hip-shorts, skirts, and form fitting tank tops in any class.
• No jean shorts or street clothes will be allowed in any class.
• Winter warm-ups are allowed and include form fitting sweaters, long sleeve shirts, and yoga pants.   Students will be required to remove these articles after initial warm-up, or by teacher’s discretion.

 

Footwear:

• Ballet: Pink ballet slippers and/or Pointe shoes
• Jazz: Black jazz shoes (due to expense considerations, students can use ballet slippers Sept. - Dec.)
• Tap: Black tap shoes
• Hip-Hop: Black jazz shoes or dance sneakers approved by the instructor.
• Lyrical: Nude foot-undeez

 

Hair:

• Students with long hair must have it pulled up and out of their face; short hair must be pinned back.
