Lyrical is a form of dance that is styled after the lyrics of a song, hence the name of the style. We listen to the music and try to "feel" the words and meaning, then we express that in a dance. Our technique is taken from a mixture of ballet and jazz.

Lyrical (Thursday) is for students ages 14 and up or by instructor's permission.

Introduction to Lyrical (Friday) is for students ages 10-14 or by instructor's permission.

Hip-Hop

Hip-Hop is simply a "funkier" form of Jazz. We listen to popular music from the hottest artists and teach the popular steps with family-appropriate music, choreography, and costumes. These classes are extremely fun and very popular.

Hip-Hop Beginner (Saturday) is for ages 7-9

Hip-Hop Intermediate (Friday) is primarily ages 10-14

Hip-Hop Advanced (Thursday) is primarily ages 14 and up
